Garbage and recycling service issues

Please remember that the garbage and recycling services at the marina are for Westport clients to dispose of “boating” generated waste only. Bringing off-site waste to the marina for dumping is not permitted as it can lead to overflow problems on busy weekends, and adds to the extremely high cost of collection.

We are now able to monitor all of our garbage and recycling areas by video camera, and will deal with offending parties if necessary.

Also, please remember that the blue bin is for garbage, the green bin is for all recyclable paper & cardboard, as well as glass, plastic, & aluminum containers.
